Chowindown you are so right. I really only use my tried and true epicurious, allrecipes, and foodnetwork. Thanksgiving is too important to really go outside the box for me.

I am so together this year that I'm about to amaze myself - during yesterday's shopping trip another shopper commented about my typed list (its an anomoly I assured them). Thanks to you all for giving me the inspiration to get there.

I've read my last several years of food and wine mags and checked their website, surfed here, recipezaar, epicurious, and better homes and gardens. Add in a couple newspaper stuffers and some ideas from mom and we've got a menu complete with references to the recipes on my computer or the website links.

Now we have to do the actual cooking!

Thats great you had a typed list, that really helps to stay organized so you don't have to make any last minute T-day trips. And I'm sure your reeaaallly love those last minute trips to the grocery store to the grocery store on T-day morning! :-p We were able to download a shopping list online, so it was similar to a typed out list. More readable too...my writing isn't the neatest.
