Michael Cimarusti is still the chef. How much influence does the Chef de Cuisine really have on things?
I am confused by this because Chef de Cuisine Paul Shoemaker is a partner in the business. There have been no reports of him leaving the restaurant. What is the source of your information?

I ate at Providence on Saturday and the menu stated Yu Min Lin was the chef de cuisine, so the other post is accurate.
I wonder if Shoemaker is moving on somewhere else or starting his own venture. Either way, should be interesting.
