someone eat in providence recently with the new chef de cuisine? . I heard is mix asian and reflect on is food and presentation.
I am confused by this because Chef de Cuisine Paul Shoemaker is a partner in the business. There have been no reports of him leaving the restaurant. What is the source of your information?
Here's a recent post on thishttp://www.chowhound.com/topics/454449
I ate at Providence on Saturday and the menu stated Yu Min Lin was the chef de cuisine, so the other post is accurate.
I wonder if Shoemaker is moving on somewhere else or starting his own venture. Either way, should be interesting.
Michael Cimarusti is still the chef. How much influence does the Chef de Cuisine really have on things?
