Eats in the Hill Country Galleria?
Does anyone know if there are restaurants open as of yet?

If you're looking for GREAT eats NEAR the Hill Country Galleria, go to Zoot on Bee Cave just a couple of bends away. They moved the original out here, and for dinner, the 5 course tasting menu was the best dinning experience I've had in Austin!
Your post is about 2 years old... so there are now tons of restaurants opening in the 620/71/Bee Cave junction.
But you can't go wrong with lunch or dinner at Zoot!

Zoot is closed, but there are tons in the Galleria: Zinger's Sports Bar, Tony C's Pizza, Buenos Aires Cafe, Iron Cactus, Maudies Hacienda, Gumbo's, Mandola's Italian Market, Little Woodrows, Bountiful Cafe...that should whet your appetite!

re: magicbus
Sorry! They ARE open, dinner only, not for lunch. They say there was a lot of confusion with yelp when they closed the other location. My apologies - I saw they were cooking at the Fall Fest this weekend in Marble Falls and investigated further. I should have done that in the first place!

From Rob Balon's Page Today:
Blue Bamboo Opens in the New Galleria Mall at Highways 620 and 71We’ve already started getting emails in on this new place at the Hill Country Galleria. The cuisine is Vietnamese and since we live out that way, I am buzzed that something Asian finally opened out there. www.gobluebamboo.com.
