From Rob Balon's Page Today:
Blue Bamboo Opens in the New Galleria Mall at Highways 620 and 71

We’ve already started getting emails in on this new place at the Hill Country Galleria. The cuisine is Vietnamese and since we live out that way, I am buzzed that something Asian finally opened out there. www.gobluebamboo.com.

If you're looking for GREAT eats NEAR the Hill Country Galleria, go to Zoot on Bee Cave just a couple of bends away. They moved the original out here, and for dinner, the 5 course tasting menu was the best dinning experience I've had in Austin!

Your post is about 2 years old... so there are now tons of restaurants opening in the 620/71/Bee Cave junction.

But you can't go wrong with lunch or dinner at Zoot!

Zoot is actually the groupon today- $30 for a 5 course tasting menu (normally $55). A great deal. Click on the link below- and if Austin doesn't come up, you can change the city at the top of the page.
