Authentic Indian Food in Brooklyn

Can anyone recommend a GOOD Indian restaurant in Brooklyn?

      ........by Brooklyn, you mean Queens? Right?

      CIA and the surroundings (Church Avenue Village Bengali Land) have some random eateries which I would consider authentic but not terribly good. Basically Pakistani or Bangladeshi lunch food with steam tables.

        The one that gets consistently decent reviews is Kinara in the South Slope.

          Be prepared...my drive-by yesterday indicates KINARA may be kaput...Unless they are renovating, it looked like they were ripping the kishkas out of the place...didn't see their sign up either.

            Kinara is still open and operating. A former pizzeria in the vicinity is being renovated, so that may have been what you observed.
