I haven't been in a while but Emil's Swiss Pastry, 1567 Barry Ave. in West LA. used to make a good linzer, hopefully they still do.
Also, there's a pastry stand at the far east end of the SM farmers market bakery who usually has linzers, not bad at all when we've tried them. Since there's a Rockenwagner stand at the far west end, you can get two and make an on-site comparison!
