I have been a few times. Last time about 6 months ago. It is okay. They have buffet items and come around in carts. The buffet stuff is pretty bad. Lots of fried food and if you don't get it when it firsts comes out, it is not good. They had turnip cake, shrimp/chive dumplings, jook, shrimp with shells on (best thing) and a bunch of american stuff like wings, crab rangoons, etc.
The cart stuff was okay. hau gau, siu mai awful. low mi guy ok, spareribs ok. most of the other dumplings were not that good.
Ok if you need variety for cheap price. But much better down the street at china pearl in woburn.
Fyi, still looking for good dim sum buffet. I miss Jin/East Manor's M-F lunch buffet. Best deal with dim sum for 10 bucks. I think they only do on weekends for outrageous price now!

re: cdoobiest
How does it compare to Yangtzee River Dim sum buffet?
Other then Yangtzee i have been to Oriental Pearl in Framingham which seems to have gone down hill according to recent reports, and a place in Dracut called Lin Garden. Only went once to Lin Garden, it was ok.
I went to Jin once , about 2 years ago when they first opened for their overpriced dinner buffet. Found it horrible! Have not been back.

re: hargau
I'm fairly new to Dim Sum, introduced in Seattle and loved it. Been to China Pearl in Woburn and loved it. And Chau chow city in Boston - loved it. Are the buffets as good compared to carts? They aren't typical chinese buffets are they? I've been to many of them and they are nothing like Dim Sum carts.

re: peregrine
I agree china pearl has better item. Yangtzee does have some other dimsum type things on the buffet though. Also includes fresh vietnamese spring rolls, bahn mi, taro cake, sp shrimp, etc.. I have been to china pearl easily 100 times. Been to yangtzee probally 20 times. Just like to mix it up.
