I'm in the Royal Oak area, and am looking for a recommendation - now that it is getting to be colder weather.

Thanks!

Howe's Bayou on Woodward, just north of Nine Mile serves fresh Oysters daily. You might inquire to see if they can prepare Oysters Rockefeller as "a request".

Tom's Oyster Bar in Royal Oak has them. I had them as part of an appetizer sampler at the old Grosse Pointe Park location and thought they were good.

Zingerman's Roadhouse in AA makes them but you have to ask for them. Try their BBQ oysters, too.

What about Charley's Crab in Troy? I'm pretty sure you could get them at Northern Lakes Grille, too.

I would recomment Tom's first - but two other places that have them are Oxford Inn and (Probably) Lily's seafood.
