Getty juice

memco Oct 30, 2007 10:38 PM

I'm headed to the Getty Museum, and I'd like to find a place to get some good juice (veggie or fruit) in the area, or in Van Nuys. Since I'm on about the Getty what type of food is at the Getty, and is it any good?

The Getty has a couple restaurants. Upstairs is the more formal one and it is very nice. Great view, good food, nice ambience. It's been a little while since I was there, but I think it costs about $40-50pp. Downstairs is the cafeteria style restaurant and for a cafeteria style place, it's really good. You can get a decent sandwich, pizza, salad, etc. It's not super cheap by cafeteria standards, but the food is also better than most cafeteria places.

fyi- you can bring your own picnic up there and eat outside. It's lovely. They even store your basket or cooler in the coat check for free.
