Drinks & Dessert for 8-10 people in West LA?

Can anyone recommend a great place for a group of 8-10 friends to sit around and drink and eat little after-dinner yummies? Trendy is fine, but nothing super-snobby please.

What about the bar in Case del Mar? It definitely has the lounge atmosphere with good drinks and I know they have a bar menu, so I am guessing that has desserts.

You'll need a reservation, but Rustic Canyon has excellent desserts.

How about the 'gastrobar' at Il Moro? Good place to hang out and they have a bar menu that also covers dessert. Not particularly trendy, but comfortable. Not particularly cheap either...

I like Bandera - 11700 Wilshire. Lively bar, and I love their banana cream pie. It's a nice place, related to the Houston Chain.

Is it a good loungey place for a post-meal get together? It sounds like they have great food, but I just wanted somewhere to hang out and get drinks.

Loungey? I don't think of Bandera that way. It does have good food and a great bar, but not so loungey. Lola's, on the other hand, is very loungey. Great martini's and quite the scene - 945 N. Fairfax Ave.
