Which to choose--Zola, PS 7's, or Acadiana?

Okay, so I know the cuisines of all three restaurants are all over the place, but I'm trying to book a table for my birthday dinner on Saturday and I was hoping to get some feedback on these three places. I'm particularly intrigued by PS 7's tuna sliders, since they've gotten lots of airtime on the board.

I'm one of those Hounds that's happy eating anything, as long as it's good...but for this particular evening, I'm looking for good food plus a lively atmosphere and hopefully a good bartender.

Suggestions for other places are also welcomed and appreciated! Thanks!

  1. You have 3 very solid choices with those restaurants. I think the food and ambiance is great at all 3...but seeing that you are leaning towards PS7's and are looking for a good bartender I would go with PS7. PS7 has a great atmosphere although I have yet to have a full sit down dinner...I've only eaten in the lounge.

In terms of atmosphere, I like Zola the best just because I think it's very chic, sexy, and fun and the bathrooms are some of the best in the city.

    1. Last time I was at PS7s, the bartender (a female, whose name I didn't get) made me a beet basil martini with her own beet infused vodka.

Just for creativity alone, go there! She also let me try it before I committed to it, which was nice :)

It's a great spot, and I'm all for people trying it so they have more people agreeing that it's great.

      1. I've only eaten at PS7 out of the three you mentioned, but it was just last weekend and the food was fantastic!! Also, I'm not sure how big your birthday dinner party is, but they did have a curtained-off section in the back that looked like it would be nice for a large group.
