Good European Restaurants in Daytona/Melbourne

robertopaella Oct 30, 2007 12:17 PM

Any suggestions for good European/Mediterranean dining in the strip between Daytona Beach and Melbourne?

Forgot to mention a place that's a little off the beaten track (both from a food & physical sense.) Salt & Sweet offers very good Polish/Hungarian specialties. It's at 3092 Lake Washington Ave., just west of Wickham Rd. (Rt. 501) in north Melbourne.

    Note: wine & beer only.

        In Indiatlantic, there's Skewers ( www.skewersrestaurant.net ).
Never eaten there, so can't give you any more info.

In Downtown Cocoa, I can highly recommend Cafe Margaux ... http://www.margaux.com/

In Downtown Melbourne, can also recommend the Continental Flambe... http://www.continentalflambe.com/

I agree with both of those recommendations, and also maybe The Heidelberg in Cocoa Beach, good German food with a great jazz club attached next door.

Do they serve all the traditional items or do they lighten them up for Florida? Do they have any German Beers on tap?
