Dog Friendly in Austin?
I will be hosting a friend who's bringing his dog to Austin, and we are looking for some dog-friendly places to get food. We are not necessarily only looking for pure "deliciousness," we are looking for a good comprehensive listing of where dogs are allowed. Does anyone have places to add to:
Uncle Billy's
Opal Divine's
Central Market
Freddie's Place?
Austin Java on 12th
Moonshine

Freddie's is above and beyond the best, but Hill Country Pasta House has a nice dog-friendly patio also.

Veranda lets dogs on the patio and even gives them milkbones

First and foremost: Freddie's, awesome chicken fried chicken, get to play washers, oak tree is too cool, music is often good.
Green Mesquite is also dog friendly, but there are only certain items on the menu I like. Dig the chicken plate. Their wings are probably the best in town (no, really) and you have to love the scooners of Shiner and the huge oak tree.

The Irie Bean Coffee Bar on South Lamar is dog friendly with a great back patio area with tables where you can hang out. They have wraps and chicken salad sandwiches along with pastries and bakery goods. Not to mention great coffee, beer and wine. Oh - and they have live music almost every night so if it's later in the evening you can check that out too.

Go to Little Woodrows on 6th. Great bar food and beer on the patio with other dogs.

It's Italian! on Bratton Lane "Wells Branch area" loves dogs.

The Cedar Door allows dogs on the patios, front and back. They also serve food, but I've never tried any.

I've taken my dog to TacoDeli, Flip Happy Crepes, and Torchy's Tacos before. And Freddie's is probably the most dog friendly place we've been to. She always has little kids coming up to pet her there.

I saw a few dawgs on the patio at Mandola's yesterday......one could take them to play afterward in the little park.

The Crown and Anchor on San Jacinto! A great selection of beers, and I know several people who swear that their double cheeseburger is the best in town.

I know this is a bit late, but add to the list BB Rover's, in the strip center on Jollyville Road next to the Kerby Lane Cafe. The food is so-so at best, but they have a huge selection of imported beers.

Bongo's on 24th has been closed for a few years. In it's place is Cuatro's- a sports bar/ burger/ tex mex place that can really be hit or miss. However, the few times that I've brought my dog there they've been really great. They'll usually bring you a bowl of water and some milk bones. If they don't...just ask.
Draught House Pub is still my favorite place to bring the pup when I want to get a beer. Beware- this is not a good place to get food.

Kerby Lane Cafe (the one on Kerby Lane) now has a small, dog-friendly patio out front.
