Chinese Hot Pot in Etobicoke/Mississauga?

I have a serious craving for Chinese Hot Pot...I'm going to be in the Etobicoke/Mississauga area tonight, does anybody know of any restaurants serving Hot Pot in the West End?

  1. I believe that Jimbay up near Dixie & Eglinton does a Hot Pot for 2 dinner, but I haven't had the chance to give it a try yet.

It is actually Japanese sukiyaki/shabu shabu, Jimbay is going downhill a bit but their sukiyaki is still ok, if you don't mind it is non-chinese. Atmosphere is nice and Japanese owned.

And I do not recall any hot pot in Mississauga like those in the east, neither szechuen spicy hot pot nor HK style hot pot, that's too bad ...

        Thanks!

      3. Yes, I was hoping to find a hot pot restaurant similar to those out in Scarborough or Markham...the DIY style cooking with a spicy soup!

Unfortunately there aren't any HK style hot pot restaurants in Mississauga. There is a restaurant with sign posted up saying they offer all-you-can-eat hot pot, but I seriously doubt it's good, since none of their regular menu were tasty anyway.

You can take a look if you like. It's on Creditview Road, the Deer Run Plaza. Good luck.

Thanks for the heads-up! Looks like I'll be heading up to Scarborough or Markham! Do you know of anything in Downtown Chinatown?

I've never been to this place. I just read the reviews at yummymap. The reviews are mixed. Some say it's good and some say it's lousy. So if you go, please let us know how it is.
