Seeking devine apple crisp
Can you please post your most successful apple crisp recipes.
Will you include info on things like the following:
Type of apples you used
How fine you diced/sliced/chopped the apples
How your topping looked/felt before you baked it (e.g. lumpy, sandy, full coating, sprinkled coating, warm, cold ...)
I have made some good crisps in the past but bad ones too. Seeking fool proof wonderfulness :)
(I do love oats in my topping and would like to try crystallized ginger in my recipe)
Also, tips for bringing apple crisps to a party? Bake half way at home and finish there? Serve cold? Etc.
