Brunch on Sunday near City Center

Hi. Two of us have tickets for the 1:30 matinee performance of American Ballet Theatre this Sunday (11/4) and wanted to get brunch beforehand. Of course, we didn't realize when we bought the tickets that the Marathon was that day, but I don't think that will be too problematic. Anyway, the two places I had thought of are Rue 57 and Redeye Grill. Any comments pro or con for either, or another suggestion? Thanks a bunch.

Was at Red Eye Grill for weekday lunch about a month ago. It was fine, nothing special. I also like La Bonne Soupe. Pazze Notte is good too. We had the best pizza during Sun. brunch last weekend right before a City Center performance.

I went to Redeye Grill a few years ago for a holiday party so my experience is not recent enough to be helpful. I do recall our experience was good. I think hounds may have better suggestions for you.

I haven't been to either of those. I like nearby La Bonne Soupe for brunch.
