Clam Chowder in a Bread Bowl

My pregnant wife Grega is craving clam chowder in a bread bowl. Nothing else will do for the pampered duchess. Any ideas? I'm stumped.

    The Lobster Place! I can't speak for the one on Bleeker, but the one in Chelsea Market has delicious clam chowder, and you can order it in a bread bowl.

      You can't eat in at the one on Bleecker - don't know if they have it to go.

      Not exactly high end, but Au Bon Pain has bread bowls and often has clam chowder as a soup choice. Not bad, considering it comes from ABP.

        The only place I've been that has it is Tracks, believe it or not. Yes, the place in Penn Station. Go figure. And it's not bad either.
