Cozy Bar in the South End

As the title suggests, I'm looking for a 'cozy' bar in the South End, preferrably with good food, friendly service, and a laid-back vibe. Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

There no "cozy" bars in the South End since Tim's Tavern and the Waltham closed.

If you are looking for a "cozy" bar try T.C.'s on Haviland St. in the Fenway or Bernie's in Chinatown.

"Cozy" has been gone for a long time.

I feel like Delux has been letting me down lately so lemme know if you end up there...

The Delux has an new chef who has yet to implement his own menu. I think the food is really going to take off over there. I have eaten there a few times since the change and have been very happy with what has been served. I would focus on the specials until there is a full menu change. Things I have really enjoyed include Mussels, Hanger Steak & the Pulled Pork.

Coda is good. Pops has a cute little bar. I like the bar at Columbus Cafe. Doesn't Dish have one also?

Dish has one. It is small, but very cozy.

Two places come to mind.
The Delux.
Anchovies.
You can do a search on both to learn a bit more about them, but I think they both meet your parameters: cozy, good food, laid back, friendly service.
