re: ExtraCheesePlease
Dinner was fabulous! Split the "Wolfgang" salad. ..2 for four, Salad included the great bacon. Followed by Porterhouse for 3 ( for 4). Best steak I have ever had in Los Angeles. Perfect!! The German potatoes were great. Shared one pecan pie with shlagg. Divine. Dinner check was about 100.00 PP. Ordered wine by the glass. I LOVE this restaurant and thank Chowhound for turning me on to it. BTW, they may serve the best martini in town, Service was top notch,

re: Schweinhaxen
So, I take it you like the place? I have a birthday coming up and I don't get all that many chances to have a great steak (with a baby and a wife that would rather eat other things), so I have to make this one count. Do you recommend the place and more importantly, do you recommend it over other steak houses in L.A.? I'd love to hear from anyone w/ an opinion out there!

re: andrewt4
Absolutely, I was there for the grand opening so my review is quite biased. The steak is NY style with a great charred crust, and because of the dry aging the flavor of the beef is very moist. Order the bacon, creamed spinach, german potatoes, and cheesecake and schlag for dessert. Probably not the best place to take kids, as its a hollywood power scene in there. The prices for the wine are high, but I think they are about right for a great steakhouse. Enjoy!!
