butcher in the valley

I am new here from the OC. I used to frequent El Toro meats. Wondering where I can find a good butcher in the valley or near to it.

The best butcher I've found is Jim's Gourmet Meats on Platt Ave. near Oxnard St. in West Hills.

I second Jim's. It's actually on FALLBROOK Ave and not on Platt.

        Yes, Fallkbrook!!!

We moved away about 3 years ago and my memory of the area is growning a little dim. Since I now buy all my meat at Costco I haven't been to a butcher in quite a while. Thanks for the correction!

If you're interested in a great Swiss/German butcher, go to Continental Meat & Sausage Co. on San Fernando in Glendale.... It's great. Cash/Check only.
