Chipotle on Halloween?
For the past several years, Chipotle has given away free burritos to people dressed in foil. Has anyone gotten confirmation that they are in fact doing it again this year? If so, what is your source?
Thanks

I am on their email list...and got something about that...but I am also in San Diego County and really don't care about much right now...

I was in Chipotle yesterday and they had a small sign up where you order stating they were doing it. I do think there were specific hours listed, though but I wasn't really paying attention, having realized that if one goes the route of wrapping oneself in foil, one would probably spend about as much on foil as on just buying the burrito. You can always call them and ask.

The foil costs a tiny fraction of the cost of the burrito. You don't need to wrap your whole body. I just make a little hat. I use a couple of feet of foil. I just bought a 20ft roll of foil - 2/$1.
Plus, it's Halloween. I like to have fun that day.

Ah. A hat. I was thinking of a whole body costume. Overkill at it's finest!

So I'm betting Chipotle won't do this again. I've went the past several years, and it's been a little busy but not bad. I actually went to 2 different ones today, and they were insanely busy. It's caught on - parents brings hordes of children, and practically the whole area high school was there. It was a nightmare - lines going way, way outside of the door. I have never seen Chipotle that busy. It was actually unpleasant and not really worth it.
