$60 for three courses, inclusive of tax and tip.

I'm a recently re-located Vancouverite, and am hunting for some good Toronto eating spots. My budget is $60 for three courses, inclusive of tax and tip. I'm fond of Italian and French cuisine especially, but am not averse to any suggestions you may have. A contemporary atmosphere is a plus.

Thanks in advance!

    1. Italian - you may be able to get by at Terroni (you'll see that the board seems kinda divided on this spot, but I'm in the love-it camp... I particularly like the Queen West location, although you may often have to wait)
French - Jules (Richmond and Spadina)

      1. Batifole is a great French bistro in Chinatown East (Gerrard, sort of around Degrassi) that pretty much exactly fits your budget. Fantastic food with good portions, nice atmosphere, and friendly, attentive service. One of my favourites; I can't recommend them highly enough.

        1. Good idea for a post!
There are a number of places that advertise prix fixe menus, but I've seen no place where there's a centralization or functional search. Here are a couple:

Lolo, Mt Pleasant, south of Eglinton. 3 course including dessert, usually 25 before t & t.

Zucca, Yonge, south of Eglinton. 3 course including dessert (salad, pasta, dessert) 22 before t and t. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.

          1. Truffles at Four Seasons used to have the "truffles treat" 3 course menu for $50 (before tax and tip), you can call to see if they still have it anymore. The food is great there with a romantic evironment. One of the top restaurant in TO.
