Did Michelle Topor's North End food tour last week. The tour centers more around cooking and shopping for food in the North End than it does restaurants and dining. We enjoyed it, but at $100. for 2 people, we could have shopped the stores ourselves. Not worth the money in our opinion. Do a self tour.

Obviously, everyone is entitled to an opinion; but yours is in a very small minority..here's other thoughts.

I've taken that tour, and yes it was expensive. But unlike other tour guides, Michelle really tells you which stores/restaurants are worth your money and which to avoid. So far I've found all her recommendations to be good ones. You just can't get that kind of information from a self-tour.
