Thanksgiving in Singapore?
Hi Everyone,
I'm from the US and this will be my 1st time spending Thanksgiving outside of America without my family. My boyfriend will be coming to visit me in Singapore and wanted to see if anyone knew of places to get a traditional Thanksgiving dinner (turkey, potatoes, etc...) or of any fun things to do in general for a holiday that isnt observed here :)
Thanks!
J
I think the best place is American Club but you have to be a member there. You have to book early too.

Hmmm, unfortunately not a member there. I had heard some hotels might have a Thanksgiving dinner. I dont need anything very fancy...just looking for some bit of the holiday while away. :)

I am sure many hotels do offer Thanksgiving dinner but since I have not tried them, I am not able to recommend any to you. On another option, if you have friends who are members of American Club, you can request them to pre-order the Turkey etc for take out on that day and prepare the Thanksgiving dinner in your place instead.

Hey there! My husband and I just moved to Singapore a month ago and it will also be our first Thanksgiving away from America. I saw your post and I have been doing research. There is a potluck dinner this Sunday at Fort Canning Park sponsored by the American Association, it is $15 but you have to bring a side dish. On Thanksgiving there is a restaurant called Dan Ryan's Chicago Grill- $52 for four course turkey meal, The Four Seaons Hotel, $68 four course meal, and Marriot $69 for turkey buffett 6:30-10. I'm not sure which one we will pick yet, I need to show him the options. Hope that helps!

Hi All,
We're in the same boat... 1st Thanksgiving outside of the US and searching for Turkey. On another blog we saw the Brewerkz is serving it up and since we eat there frequently we booked it. It's S$45.95 (`$30US) for a really nice sounding buffet and they still have the regular menu for non-bird lovers. It will be different sitting in 85F weather by the river in Singapore, but it will be remembered.
