Papalote - difference between locations?

Any taste difference between the Valencia and Fulton location of Papalote?

  1. I've noticed no difference between the two. You are as likely to get an undersized [by SF standards] and flavor-lite burrito at either location.

Be sure to get plenty of their salsa, as its the best thing this place has going for it.

    1. Admittedly I haven't been to the Fulton St location since it was new, but the couple of times I did go I was not impressed with the food. Even the salsa was almost inedible as it was overly salty. This was sad news for me, as I was very excited to have a location open up down the street from my home, after years of traveling across town to Papalote's other shop. I'd be interested in hearing whether anyone else has more recent, and hopefully better, experience with the Fulton Street location.

      1. I am a lover of the original Papa and was delighted to see that he was opening up a new one closer to me. And, I like it very mucho. I think they still do a great job with their salsa, their beans, and their food in general. It's smaller, the and the art isn't the same, but the guys sling good food, healthy, and yes, the salsa still kicks ass!
