Blue Hill NYC or Westchester [Moved from Manhattan board]

Which one?
Price is no object - I could take a car service to the country - (expense accout)
I have always wanted to eat at these places.
Perhpas is would be easier to just stay in the city - but would the experience of a country setting be worth the pageantry of riding out there?
What are the menu differences?

Hi - we've moved this thread from the Manhattan board because the responses thus far have discussed Stone Barns in Westchester. Unfortunately, we weren't able to move one very helpful response, which you can find here:

If you have been to both the Manhattan and Westchester restaurants and have advice for the OP, please do post here. If you have a review that is focused on the Manhattan restaurant, please help us out by posting it on the Manhattan board, and put a link to it here.

Thanks so much for your patience!

Wow...if you have the chance to go to Stone Barns I have to agree with everyone else. This is an experience within itself. An AMAZING meal. From the atmosphere (eating in a converted barn) to the food, the wine...you will not be dissapointed.

Agreed. No competition. Stone Barns definitely.
