A Dallas Board?? [Moved from Texas board]

I know this has probably been debately heavily on CH so maybe we could write the webmaster/computer head honchos to get our own Dallas, Houston, and Texas boards. Is there a reason why we can't have our own board and not to be elitist but it sure makes searching for a specific topic easier. I know I have searched for a specific topic started reading through and found that the thread was in Houston or San Antonio, not Dallas where I live. Do we have to bribe politicians to get our own board like Austin did...j/k? I need some feedback and suggestions so maybe we can start a campaign to get a separate board.

Sounds great to me, too. It would make it far less likely that I read a post, fall in love with a restaurant and then spend the afternoon weeping because it's several hours away!

I've brought this up many times as well. Is there an exact number of people that need to request before the board is made?

Board changes are not based on popular request.

There's a variety of factors that go into determining whether a board is likely to be successful enough to sustain itself. We're not currently making any board changes because of some technical limitations, but when we do make them, we'll work hard to ensure that the new boards reflect appropriate geographic and culinary divisions, as well as ensuring they'll be active enough to be self-sustaining.
