Brunch Buffets in the Disney Resorts

  • 5

Hello,

I will be visiting Disney this December and was looking for brunch type buffets on Disney property. Besides Boma, can somebody recommend a brunch place there? Has anybody been to the House of Blues?

Thanks!

  1. I forgot to add one other thing. I prefer no breakfast with the characters. Thanks again!

    1. I like the house of blues gospel brunch. We went with a big group and had a great time. It is very southern food. I have also been to the buffet in the Dolphin or the swan. It was nice. I would also try searching disney buffet because I know that there were discussions recently.

      1. My parents took my husband and I to the HoB Gospel Brunch in June. It was great... TONS of food. The show was very good, as well... as long as you don't have issues with that type of music. As carinole said, there is a lot of Southern food, but they also have traditional stuff including an omelet station and waffles. If you want to spend the money, I think it's worth it. However, if you are planning to go the week between Christmas and New Year's, I'd make your reservations early as that is the busiest time for the theme parks.

        1. I did a review of House of Blues in my blog http://restaurantmom.blogspot.com/sea... . I really liked it and the entertainment definitely made it worth it. Spoodles at the Boardwalk Resort also has breakfast - they have some mediterranean style brunch foods on the menu. Also, Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Resort is very good (and there are no characters) - don't miss the Tonga Toast which is French Toast stuffed with bananas. Spoodles and Kona Cafe are not buffets but there is a lot of variety and some "combo" plates that you can order.
