KiWe? Anyone been there?
I'm always driving by this place, but I've never been in. Can someone let me know what kind of food and experience this place can offer? Thanks.
I went with a few friends for dinner one friday last fall on a recommendation, we did have fun but moslty thanks to being in a rather private booth, the crowd there was kinda clubby, mostly short skirts and overly cologned dudes – not my scene...I wouldn't say the food was bad, plated fairly well, but over priced and just nothing special, pretty standard offerings at a higher price due to a "cool factor" atmosphere...service was quite good as I recall...if this is your thing I'd say go to Trevor instead, at least the food is good there, the crowd at Kiwe doesn't seem like they'd be to picky about what is put in front of them as long as it looked good...I gotta say there are some great elements to the decor though, the die cut steel ceiling is wicked!
