Eggplant Parmigiana in Scottsdale or Phoenix?
SEEKING GREAT EGGPLANT PARMIGIANA IN SCOTTSDALE OR PHOENIX!
Snowbirds returning - We enjoy eating in or taking it home. Loved Brioni's version but recently read that there are new owners there. Can anyone update us on the quality of that dish at Brioni's or elsewhere. Thanks, in advance, for your help.

okay, seriously hidden gem here.... but the parmigiana at avanti (20th and thomas? somewhere around there) is seriously the best i've had. ever. in any state. better than what i ate in any restaurant italy. better than the homemade parmigiana my neighbor in rome made for me in her kitchen. its THAT good. can't say why, but it is SO worth the visit...

Call me crazy, but I like Slice of Sicily's. Classic red-sauce version, but very tasty.

The chef from Brioni's is now @ Un Bacio...@ Gainey Ranch.
I see a stuffed eggplant on their menu...but not an eggplant parmigiana....They are very accomodating....I am sure they could make it for you!
http://www.azeats.com/un-bacio/menus....Guido's @ Scottsdale @ Shea does a nice version as well as Nicks on 100th St and FLW Blvd.
There is a new Restaurant @ Windmill Plaza called THE FIRM.....They also offer an eggplant Parmigiana....I haven't had an opportunity to try it yet...but have heard praise about their Italian specialties.....
