gourmet indian in the south bay

eig Oct 24, 2007 11:55 AM

I'm trying to remember an indian restaurant that i went to in the south bay, i know it was south of stanford on el camino real (maybe a few miles down?), but i can't remember the cross streets. I vaguely remember that it was sort of tucked away in the back of a strip mall.

the food was great, definitely more expensive, but i felt like they backed in up in terms of quality food, a unique ambience, and they made an effort to class up the service.

i know this isn't the most detailed post, but i don't think there are too many indian restaurants that get fancy...oh yeah, and they had some restaurant award posted in the front, something like zagat's favorite indian restaurant in the area or something like that...i appreciate any help you might have, thanks

no, definitely had a similar feel, but it was actually located on el camino, east side of el camino...just can't remember the name or cross streets
