Free Ice Cream at J.P. Licks!

A heads-up to all the college students out there: they're giving away free ice cream today at J.P. Licks! It's a small cup and you can have whatever flavor you want, as long as you show them a college ID. I'm not sure if it's just my nearest location (Newton Center) or whether it's at all their locations, but what an awesome thing to do. I already love them for their PB fro-yo, though, so this just makes me love them even more.

Does anyone know if any of the other ice cream businesses in the area has a free day?

Since I'm nearly 3x as old as I was when my college ID was shot, I don't think that's going to work for me.

Ben & Jerry's has an annual free day, and it's not just limited to college students. I know that JP Licks has also had freebie days open to everyone - I got to sample their Dice-K rice ice cream for free back in the spring.

It's at the JP location too, I noticed a big banner outside their place when I drove by there last night. hmmm. Maybe I can dig up my old college ID somewhere :)
