Birthday cakes near Purdue University?
Hi!
I'm from Los Angeles but will be traveling to W. LaFayette next week with my SO, who is attending a conference in the area. Could you please tell me where I can find a decent birthday cake near Purdue University? It's my SO's birthday and I can't bake him a cake in our hotel room!! Chocolate cakes are preferred.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My parents live in Lafayette. Below is what my Mom said. I know she hasn't been happy with any of the bakeries there. But, there is one grocery store there that has a very good bakery. The grocery store is Marsh's, and there are several locations. Hope this helps!
There's O'Rears which is on I think 9th street, but I'm not impressed with them. A Pocket Full of Rye is good but I don't know what their range is. Baker's Peak (which I thought was closed) used to be good but pricey.
