"Smokey Joe's" best Kosher burger in Teaneck
I'm lucky to live in Teaneck, 5 minutes from "Smoky Joe's" where I go for lunch every time I get to work from home. My regular lunch is the slow bbq chicken or brisket sandwich which are "out of this world". However, today I had the burger and I was not disappointed.
The burger was done perfectly, medium-rare as I asked, and was served with a slice of tomato, lettuce, red onions and pickles on the side and of course French-fries.
The burger tasted great. Big, fresh and right off the grill, the juices were running down my chin and I was happy. Quite a different experience from the usual over-cooked meat in a shape of a perfect disk called burger.
It is now added to my regular lunch items.
Chow hounders, go try it.

I agree. The whole family went to Noah's Ark this week to try their new burger menu...each of us had a different burger...all juicy & delicious, served on brioche, with a side of sweet potato fries. I sampled everyone's burger, and especially liked the bbq brisket burger and the philly steak burger. Interestingly, we saw another table order a Ginormous burger - 36oz, and eat the whole thing. we're going back again next week.
agreed, I had a Noah's Ark burger on the Lower East Side,
and was amazed how great was it's flavor and texture that
I didn't insult it with any condiments. I also endorse those
sweet potato fries - and their cole slaw is pretty good too.
Joe's is best at smoked meat dishes, so I doubt their burger
is really the best around - unless they smoke chop meat ;^)
I'm just jealous I don't live near Joe's. about the only good
food eating resturant here in Flushing is Sushi Metsuyan.
