BKFST around Sutter & Jones.....
Need a great spot for breakfast on a Saturday morning around sutter & jones. I've had great food at Dottie's and from what I've read here today, sounds like Canteen is a great spot as well. Are there any other spots in this area. I have a car, so if there's somewhere else that serves a great breakfast (like Dottie's) and is a more charming location, that would be fantastic.

I ate at Canteen for the first time on Sunday (report coming soon) and it was stellar. I definitely recommend it, although the wait will probably be long if you go after 10 AM. But if it's before then, you might be all set. It was very small, but I thought it was more charming than Dottie's.
I ate at Dottie's for the first time on Monday (report coming soon for this too) and really liked it as well.
There were two of the best breakfasts I'd had since moving to SF over one year ago....so if you want to be near Sutter and Jones anyway, I think you should stick to one of those two.

I wish I was wrong, but I don't think there is anything even close to Dottie's anywhere close to Sutter and Jones but yet in a more charming setting. However, if you want to drive, Mama's in Washington Square is pretty tasty. I'll echo the good thoughts about Canteen though. Good luck!
