ABQ Dim Sum

Looking for recommendations for Saturday or Sunday dim sum in Albuquerque. Or a Chinese bakery where I could find both baked and steamed pork buns.

Am I dreaming? Is there such a place?

Ming Dynasty was a hit. I know this going to sound weird, but it was totally run-of-the-mill dim sum. But that was exactly what I wanted: pork buns (steamed and baked), shrimp noodles, shrimp and leek dumplings, great prices. Delish. Fast, friendly service. And while my husband doesn't like it when I order chicken feet, I couldn't help but ogle them at other tables. They were obvs a big seller.

We'll plan our next trip to AmerAsia on a Saturday and then report back.

Amerasia moved to Third and Slate. Just got a good review in one of the Albuquerque dailies.

It's a second location, according to the blurb in the alibi. The original remains open (for now).

As we're going to be in ABQ on Sunday our only choice is Ming Dynasty. I'll be sure to report back.

We went to AmerAsia at 3rd & Slate twice now for sushi and were VERY pleased. Had some excellent sashimi and rolls. The dim sum part of the place is separate and was not open when we were there. The original place on Lead is still there (sushi is only at the downtown location).

Amerasia on Lead is a standard rec for dim sum in ABQ. (I've been low-carbing it for 4 years now, so I'm not up on any new places that might be able to help you out.)

Ming Dynasty on Eubank NE has some darn good dim sum on weekends
