I was asked to recommend a good place for a group of 12-15 ppl to eat at before clubbing in downtown Toronto on Saturday night... what a difficult request! Suggestions?

The only thing that comes to mind from that area are pubs and chain places like Milestones.

I don't know how much you want to spend, but the Brant House might be a good option if you want something more upscale. They can handle larger parties. And you may even decide to forget the entertainment district and hang out in that 'hood for clubbing and drinks.

(web site is a over-designed and frustrating)

If you want to share plates, Supermarket in Kensington is good for a group, and only about a 10 minute walk from the entertainment district.

Places like Brassai, Le Select, and Crush can also take groups that size.
