Has anyone been here? I saw they were recently awarded 2 Michelin stars and was thinking about checking it out.

is it hard to get reservations? i have been dying to go but every time i have called (only twice but still) it has been busy for awhile!

From what I understand, you have to call 2 full months in advance for reservations. We have decided to do Maze for lunch instead due to time restraints. I will be sure to post a review.

Went about a year ago, but I doubt much has changed (with the exception of the installation of the new executive chef). The food was very good - nothing very inventive or especially creative (such as fusion flavors), but very solid, very tasty classic cooking. The room is nice too and the swivel chairs are very comfortable. Definitely have some cheese and some items from the bon bon cart.

Let me preface this with saying we have not dined at GR @ L but we did eat at Maze in The London (menu designed by GR) and if this was an indication of the main dining room I whole heartedly say "Go"! We popped in to Maze for what we thought would be a passable quick lunch and wound up with a wonderful meal. Quality of food and service was top notch and this was not even The London's primary restaurant.

Maze is still flying under the radar. You get the techniques and ingredients of a top kitchen (admittedly in smaller and simpler dishes) at incredible prices. The lunch deal is amazing.

We thought portion size for lunch was spot on.
My fish was perfectly cooked.

Was absolutely one of my best dining experiences in NYC. Leave room for the cheese cart!!! Everything was yummy!!
