Best Peking Duch with pancakes not buns

I'm on a mission to find the best peking duck in the city that comes with the traditional pancakes not the fat stodgy buns. The buns override the flavor of the duck and the sauce. And I'm not talking burritos either. Thought I had found the perfect candidate last night in japantown but then they bought out these big, stale burrito type pancakes. Yuck. Has anyone got recommendations?

If they aren't, I am! I appreciate a nice bao, but I miss the regular *thin* pancakes as well (definitely don't like the flour and corn tortilla wrappings I've seen around here) and haven't found a local place that has them.

within limits yes I am. Would have to be pretty good though for the trip. What do you have in mind?

Great China in Berkeley. Comes with thin pancakes and it's really, really good.

I second Great China. They have the best Peking duck in all of the Bay Area. When my relatives come to town, they always request "the duck place". We once had 3 whole ducks at our table of 10 (a bunch of hungry teenagers). We had pre-ordered two and went through them so quickly, they asked if we wanted another...The third duck was probably overkill, but it was still worth it.
