A few Colorado recommendations

Prior to a recent driving trip to Colorado I searched this board for recommendations and found a few, but not a lot of recs. Here's a few that we found and although geographically scattered we were pretty pleased with them. Here they are, North to South.

Ft. Collins: Poppy's, 130 S. Mason. We had a pretty reasonably priced dinner one evening, I had duck breast over mashed potatoes with thinly sliced (granny smith?) apples in fruit reduction. My wife had an "open faced" butternut squash ravioli, with mushrooms and spinach. A glass or two of wine and we were out in the low $40 range.

Loveland: Ristorante Damosso, 1120 N. Lincoln. We had dinner one night and were so impressed we went back a few days later for lunch with some friends. At dinner I had a house salad and a Penne Putanesca, my wife had the Tomato Basil soup and the Scallops appetizer. I had wine, my wife had water. We also had the focaccia bread/pizza which is not to be missed. Portions are very ample. I had a couple of glasses of the house Pinot Grigio (Lagaria IIRC) and the whole ticket was about $44.

Pace is leisurely, allow ample time.

At lunch 3 days later we had a couple of Penne Alfredo, one Spaghetti del Mare and a Calzone. A few glasses of wine, one dessert split 3 ways, one house salad. The whole thing was about $55, for four people.

In Woodland Park we had a great, leisurely lunch at Danny's Corner Bisto, right next to the movie theatre, 605 W. Midland Ave. It was so new that the ribbon cutting is one week AFTER we ate there. Two entries, with side soups and iced teas were $20! I had the turkey burger with Mushroom, Barley soup, my wife had a Veggie Wrap with IIRC Tomato Basil. Had time allowed we would have returned a few days later for a dinner, the menu looked great.

Three places we will return to, especially the Loveland and Ft. Collins ones as we bought a house in Loveland while up there.
