  1. I don't know if there's any way for you to get it other than coming to the restaurant itself, but El Tequila in Northfield, MN has my absolute favorite salsa. It's made on the premises and it's very simple but spicy and delicious!

    1. Garden Fresh, made in Ferndale Michigan, is available at many Costcos (not nationwide yet but I saw it in Washington state). They mix it in 5 gallon buckets because the owner says that the flavor isn't the same if they make it in big vats. It is only available refrigerated and you'd swear it's homemade.

      1. re: coney with everything

it's in krogers but it is midwest made and the jack's special rocks. i agree.

      2. You should check out the Original Juan's website (http://www.originaljuan.com/). They make a wide variety of salsas and pepper sauces at their location here in KC. I pretty much make my own salsa or buy the TX brand my husband prefers, but the Original Juan's pepper sauces are excellent.

Also spaghetti sauce in a jar if I get desperate.
