I'm a fan of Greek ouzo, Italian sambuca and Turkish raki. I live in a part of LA where Armenian goods are easily available and was wondering if -- bearing its similar geography in mind -- Armenia has its own version of the anise-flavored liqueur. Anyone know? Thanks.

  1. Yes, I beleive its called Arak. I am familiar with the Chateau Kisara brand as well as an Arak Brun. Both are very good.

    1. Arak / Araq (Arabic for sweat) is called Oghi in Armenian.
