Went last night, easy to get a seat at the bar (6:30)
standard beer selection, reasonably priced drinks menu.
Spinach Dip app was good for the price, came with grilled bread. Rather strong on the cream cheese with a very smooth texture....can't we come up with a different binding ingredient for spinach dip?
Anyways we also had a burger with onion rings and a mushroom rav. with a butternut squash cream sauce.
The burger was good, fresh and seasoned beef cooked perfectly, but a little pricey (10.99). The accompaniments were fresh, with arugula as the green. I finished with about 2 and half bun bites left. The onion rings would have been stellar if they had actually been served immediately after being fried, instead they were a bit chewy.
The rav's were also generally good. Full of mushrooms, most notably the chewy shitake. However, The sauce could have used a bit more of something, it was just average, much like everything else. Portions were excellent, but overall the dinner was standard.
