Any sublime breakfast spots with real maple syrup and home baked products?

This is a list of some places in the Mystic area that might help you out. (http://travel.explorenewengland.com/r...)

Kitchen Little (Rt.27) is good but it really is tiny. On nice days you can eat on the back porch but when it is cooler get there early. There are probably only six small tables inside. Pat's Country Kitchen is a bit of a drive, just off of exit 67 in Old Saybrook, but I enjoyed it. One of the few places you can get clam hash.

Kitchen Little is the best, but, as pbanjo said, tiny. Another possibility, a short drive out of town, is "Somewhere in Thyme", nothing fancy, but good food. It is at 3175 Gold Star Hwy (Rt. 184), Mystic. Most of the places on the list above (explorenewengland) are not open for breakfast.
