Hi all...

I'm heading to Philly tonight and have never been there. I'm staying in the city district and am in desperate need of fine dining recommendations. Any advice is very appreciated!

Oops! I guess you can tell I'm not from there! We'll be at the cornerstone b&b in the university city district.

Marigold Kitchen would've been a good choice too in University City, but you can't go wrong with Lacroix.

Penn Homecoming weekend today... good luck finding reservations at the fine dining places, but if you're flexible (early or late) you may get a table.

Barclay Prime (steakhouse), Amada (spanish / tapas), Brasserie Perrier (french/bistro), Lacroix (one of my favorites), are showing at least a couple openings in OpenTable.

I would suggest you head over to Osteria. This is the new restaurant from Marc Vetri and they have open seating at both the bar and the outdoor seating area where they don't take reservations.

Do you mean Old City? What cross streets will you be near?
