I had a CSA share with Parker Farms this year and liked it a lot. We picked up at his farm in Lunenburg. Steve isn't offering that pickup next year so I'm looking between Waltham CSA farm pickup and Stillman's Lunenburg pickup. I'd probably do a large share at either (that's all Waltham has I think). We're also thinking of adding a meat share. Waltham is offering one from Chestnut Farms and Stillman's has their's of course.

Any thoughts on which has better produce - quantity and quality, staff, organization ? Or are they about equal in those areas ?

I've been a member of the Waltham CSA for two years and have been very happy with them. Don't know anything about Stillman's so can't compare, though...sorry! The produce has been really good, nice variety, good pick-your-own stuff, etc. All staff I've interacted with have been great also. I'd be happy to answer any specific questions you may have. Just FYI, they do sell out of their shares, so be sure to sign up early!
