Fleming's Steakhouse In Woodland Hills
Had dinner tonight at Fleming's. Sat at the bar and watched the Red Sox beating up the Indians. I've eaten here several times and always have a tasty experience. When eating at the bar, you can order anything off the menu. I usually stick to the appetizers because you can really make a full meal out of them. I want to endorse the seafood chopped salad. This is amazing!! Perfectly dressed with various ocean treasures (crab, lobster, shrimp), pancetta, olives, artichokes, etc. They also do an excellent chicken chopped salad. In addition, I had a generous cheese and charcuterie platter and a side of chipotle macaroni and cheese. Oh and don't forget to order something from the martini menu - lots of choices fruity and non-fruity. The bar at Fleming's is a fun experience. Would love to hear your thoughts.
i've never eaten at the bar, but the quality/experience in the restaurant varies with location.
i've always had excellent meals at the one in la jolla, but i had a disastrous experience in newport beach.
my parents have also enjoyed several visits to the la jolla location, so they were excited when a fleming's opened near them in north jersey...but when they tried it they were very disappointed.
you just never know with a chain...
Went to the one in Lincolnshire, IL (N. of Chicago). Creamed spinach was some of the best I've had.
I've been to a couple locations. I usually eat at the one in Woodland Hills. Call me a sucker, but I like the fact that the staff recognizes me every time I go in. Doesn't hurt that the food and wine are outstanding. The flemings potatoes are a must.
