PHX ParmaCotto

Does anyone know a place in Phx that sells ParmaCotta or Italian cooked ham? I've checked AJ's and Calabria deli. Or do you know what I can substitute? Thanks

I actually ended up getting it this past weekend in Chicago. I found this little shop that had it in the deli case. The owner said I could freeze it until I was ready to use so that's what I did. Living in the NW valley...getting it in Chicago was easier than making the trip to Andreoli. :-)

You should call DeFalco's on Scottsdale Rd. and see if they carry it.

Andreoli Grocer sells cooked ham and other meats at the counter - very very good quality although I don't remember the source.

Thanks. That's probably the closest I'll find.

I know Cibo uses prosciutto cotto as a pizza topping. I wonder if they would be able to point you to a local source?

Great idea. I just called. We determined it's the same thing but I have to wait until the chef comes in to see where he buys it. Thanks!

I spoke with the chef. They don't buy it locally. Thanks though it was worth a try.

Too bad. I kinda felt like it was long shot. Looks like rbloom has you covered, though. :-)
