<content>What's good to read for info about the specifics of food transport?
I am wondering if a wheel of parmigianno from Italy flies to NY, or comes by container ship, and if produce from California or Chile flies or is trucked or . . . ?
I haven't read Omnivore's Dilemna, please tell me if these particular nuts and bolts of food miles is covered.

One article I found was "Planes, brains and automobiles" from the Financial Times (UK)
