I need to fatten up a friend in SF!
I know few of us have this problem (trying to get fatter!)--but I recently connected with a childhood friend. I'm a super foodie! He's very slender and doesn't seem to eat very much! Now we're a couple! Besides my own cooking what about some places in SF to fatten him up? He says he's picky but scarfs down almost anything that's put in front of him. Suggestions?

I find most forms of Italian food really put on the pounds without being TOO unhealthy, so...
A16, Delfina, L'Osteria Del Forno, Perbacco, Acquerello
La Ciaccia (sp?), Incanto, Quince by reputation
Non-Italian?
Taste of the Himalayas
Aziza
NoPa
Mamacita
Boulevard
Chapeau! Those restaurants are in all different price/formality cagetories, although more are moderate+ (like $18-$24 main courses).
For cheap eats, go to tacquerias. I like Papalote the best but for more traditional burritos try La Tacqueria or Tacqueria Cancun.
Of course you can fatten up at Fleur de Lys (my favorite restaurant in the city, but haven't been for a while), La Folie, The Dining Room at the Ritz Carlton.

Suppenkuche, Incanto, Ristorante Milano, Il Borgo, (anywhere with good pasta really), TARTINE, any number of Mission taquerias.
