MSP: Belgian glassware?

I love the Tripel Karmeliet glasses (and of course the beer!) used at Bulldog NE, closed Margaux and A Rebours. Does anyone know if any place in town sells specialty beer glassware?

Thank you, greatly appreciated!! I tried France 44 but did not think about asking Blue Max. Even more appealing: stopping at the Bulldog after work today for a truffle burger and asking for Angello.

My husband and I are HUGE fans of Chimay, and were excited to see it on the menu at the newly opened Pittsburg Blue in Maple Grove. It was served in the correct Chimay chalice, and it was priced right to boot!!

Thanks for the rec on Blue Max but I rarely make it that far south.

I hardly ever make it that far south, but both my wife (who claims breaks out when she is in the suburbs) and I thought it was worth the trip.

Honestly, ask for Angello @ NE Bulldog and ask him if they can order some for you. My money is that they will. I think their desire to be accommodating is famous at this point...seeing as it got Landon fired, peripherally.

I was going to recommend Blue Max as well - probably the best beer selection I've seen in the area. It's pretty amazing. I think I saw glassware there the last time that I was there.

most bars get their specialty glassware through their beer distributors, subsidized by the beer company who knows that it's great promotion for its brews. if you are friendly with a bartender or mgr at bulldog or somewhere else that carries the beer, you may be able to arrange to buy a case or 1/2 case of the glasses through the bar. ime independent bars will bend over backwards to please their good regulars, and they'd rather sell customers the glasses than risk people filching them. . .
